RICS Home Survey - Level 2

The full RICS Home Survey Level 2 (survey and valuation) includes a report on the condition of the property, an open market valuation and a fire insurance figure. This report can be provided without a valuation and fire insurance figure. View our fees by clicking this link.
The reports aim is to help the client make a reasoned and informed decision on
1: whether to proceed with the purchase,
2: assess at what price it would be reasonable to purchase and
3: be clear what decisions and actions should be taken.
Our founder has over 37 years experience in the property field and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, is a member of the RICS Valuers Registration Scheme and provides our RICS Home Surveys (Survey and Valuation) personally.
This is a popular report and can be used across a range of residential property types.
Generally, a RICS Home Survey Level 2 type report would not be used for older properties and where there are obvious significant defects, or the property requires full refurbishment for example and it may not be suitable for converted or extended properties; in these cases a RICS Home Survey Level 3 may be more appropriate; our surveyor would discuss the most suitable type of report with you.
Please read the RICS Home Surveys “Helping You To Choose The Right Survey“ guide. For more detailed information on the types of property survey do not hesitate to contact us to help you decide which report will best meet your needs.
Our surveyor takes numerous photographs whilst inspecting the various parts of a property and these photographs are included within the report.
